Tomorrow, for our lunch meeting, we are fortunate to have Will Janoush from Barnes Law Firm here in Jackson to discuss tax liability and how it pertains to real estate investments.
Specifically, we are going to touch on the basics of 1031 tax exchanges. We'll then dive into new tax law qualified income and some of the changes of tax law. Lastly we'll discuss corporations, entities and other employment agreements designed to lower taxes.

With a J.D. and LLM in Taxation, Will specializes in estate and trust planning; business planning; mergers and acquisitions; civil tax controversy
and litigation; criminal tax defense; and estate and trust litigation.
Will Represents clients in audits; administrative hearings before the IRS and the Mississippi Department of Revenue (“MDOR”) Board of Review; and federal tax litigation before the United States Tax Court.
He also advises clients on business entity selection and formation issues, including the formation of tax-exempt organizations; drafts business formation and reorganization documents
